Abstract
This article deals information with the historical and realistic works of the founder of Uzbek National proses, a journalist, a linguist and a translator Abdulla Kadiriy. Kadiriy’s novel “Bygone days” has as its setting a period of history and that attempts to convey the spirit, manners, and social conditions of a past age with realistic detail and fidelity.His works, imbued with the ideas of Jadidism, have been loved and read by the people for centuries and have enriched their fans spiritually. In each of his works, the writer speaks about the plight of the people, urges the nation to wake up, to think.
