REVIEW PAPER ON THE LEAN MANUFACTURING TOOLS

The term Lean in the manufacturing context implies identification and elimination of waste in all the processes involved. Identification of waste is critical to every organization. Lean manufacturing can apply to every process and it can bring about great results. Lean manufacture has a comprehensive set of elements, rules, and tools that focus on the elimination of waste and the creation of value.It is can be used to manufacture the machines related to the Agro processing industry. Lean manufacture, also Creates speedy, smooth and economical manufacture .
The main focus is to satisfy the customer demands for high quality and low cost .This technique is not only identify the reason for the waste But also helps in its removal through the market principles and guidelines. This paper focuses discussing the concept of lean manufacturing to improve the productivity, and the quality and lower the cost of product. Types of wastages are defined. The tools used to lower the waste are discussed.
